Armistice Day Video
In 1918, on the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” an armistice was signed to end hostilities on the western front of WW1. It was a date commemorated as “Armistice Day” or “Remembrance Day” a return to /peace and a day to honor the fallen. In 1954, the United States renamed the day “Veterans Day”.
For several years, Veterans For Peace has worked to “reclaim Armistice Day” as a day dedicated for global world peace, a day to imagine and to work for peace,
